I have two friends that formerly worked in US local politics but now work in tech that have been detained for some time in China (Hong Kong). They have been accused of being foreign agents just because they worked as organizers signing people up to vote previously. This really needs to stop. Regular people are getting hurt.

What other outcome would be expected for foreigners meddling in affairs of other nations? As an outsider, China seems to be a nation of ripoffs and corruption. I am an outsider though and wouldn't be saying that if I was a guest visiting there.

    Just because other countries are wildly negligent is no reason for china to follow suit.
