Voce-browser – voice Controlled Web Browser

  Interesting! Did you consider some other voice tools for this? I think the Speech API is kind of limited and not the optimal solution for voice user interfaces, where as a dedicated voice UI tool, such as Speechly could work better. Another question, what do you think is the target group for this kind of browser?

  I'm not a Python developer, but I tried running "python3 setup.py build" in the project's directory and got a "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'setuptools'" message. I think I'm missing something with the "install it locally in your python environment" part of the instructions. Once Voce-browser is up and running, does it provide the user with a list of voice commands that can be used out of the box? Or do those have to be set up based on the user? I don't see a list of what the available commands are or any instructions on how to configure those in the Readme.

    You should install setuptools first. pip3 install setuptools

      Python developers keep forgetting about that one because it's so widely required I believe it should really be in python standard library by now.

  Something like this would be very handy also on the mobile. I’m wondering how easy this would be to set up in that sort of context?
