Using Notion to Run My Website
After maintaining a simple site with Angular, I was looking for something simple to update on the fly.
I've recently set up https://www.willswire.com, which utilizes the super.so SaaS and my personal Notion account. I was wondering what suggestions/feedback anyone might have for choosing to run my website this way.
- mathieuh 6y agoI recently set up a static blog using Hugo, all on AWS so it's all easily managed. Here's a blog post I wrote (on the blog) on setting AWS up https://mathieuhendey.com/2020/10/static-ssl-website-entirely-on-aws/ https://mathieuhendey.com/2020/10/static-ssl-website-entirel... and here's the GitHub repo for my blog itself: https://github.com/mathieuhendey/homepage https://github.com/mathieuhendey/homepage I find it amazingly simple, it's all markdown, it has functions to concat, minify and fingerprint assets, and I wrote a deploy script that deploys the website, invalidates the CloudFront cache, and then it's live. I'd highly recommend it, but I'm a biased source.
