In general, I don't agree with Stallman's hyperbole and think that many of his beliefs are extreme. However, in this case, I respect the fact that he chose to reply to the OP. Many arrogant people might prefer to ignore criticism. It appears that Stallman reviewed the OP's letter and took the time to reply to him (tersely, but honestly)
