- antijava 6y agoWhat does the Permanente quarry have to do with tech exactly? It is a limestone quarry and has been since 1939.
- therockspush 6y agosounds like you know the area, good chance you have kaiser permanente healthcare. you can appreciate the scale of this lake if you know the permanente.
- 08-15 6y agoIt's just 2km by 3km! This is tiny! It actually looks as if the Chinese are doing it right this time: the ugliness of the black sludge is confined to a small lake, so that the sludge can settle and the water can drain. One day, when the pond is filled with clay, they will turn it into a park.
