Every time something like this comes up either with Dropbox, Google, or whatever big corp who owns your data, I suggest everybody to try out Nextcloud! I use it for years, because it's a very liberating feeling to OWN YOUR DATA and not be in a risk of something like this. It's even more convenient than any cloud drive I tried.
