If Damore has published his memo externally to Google, and didn’t identify his employer, should he have been punished?
- shadowgovt 6y agoShould he is a moral question that I'm not interested in arguing on HN, but I doubt he practically would have been. Especially if he'd done so anonymously, obviously. He also probably could have avoided being fired if he apologized and clarified that he did not realize that his musings on the subject could create a hostile work environment. He instead chose to double down that he'd done nothing wrong.
