This is a great example of how rights aren't free, they are counterbalanced by responsibilities.
The right to freedom of speech seems to bear the cost of education. An educated person should be able to assess the things they hear and make their own choice on what to believe, uneducated people seem unable to do the same.
- enraged_camel 6y agoYes, but worth noting that it's not just a matter of education. People who stand to profit from the misinformation are also motivated to believe it.
