Meta, but... 10 points, posted 13 minutes ago and number 1 on the front page?
- droffel 6y agoI think many of us have the whole 'blackhat SEO' topic on our minds given that there's a thread about it on the front page right now. That said, popularity ranking algorithms often heavily weight votes early in their life cycle, so this kind of behavior isn't necessarily suspicious.

- jsnell 6y agoIt's an article that, based on the title, is clearly negative about a large tech company. No need to assume any kind of foul play, that kind of title is like catnip to a significant proportion of the HN readership.
- instagraham 6y agoand it's my first submission on hacker news too :D That aside, IDK I read it in the group I was in and felt it would be liked here.
