Twitter, Facebook Censor New York Post Link of Hunter Biden Exposé
- Mizza 6y agoThe thing that seems obvious but opaque is the mechanism of coordination. My guess is that the DNC communications director simply has all of FAANG moderation staff on speed-dial and calls them up whenever something like this happens, but maybe a truly great censor doesn't even need to be told when to act.

- Mizza 6y agoWeirdly, this article has more points and is younger than some stuff on the frontpage right now, but doesn't appear at all thought it hasn't been [flagged]. Does HN block NYP, or am I just going nuts?
- verdverm 6y agoUsers can flag without triggering a full flagging (like during the process) and posts will be devalued. I wonder if there are manual instances as well or if similar articles effect each other's ranking. Seen this happen with stories critical of China.
