- parliament32 6y agoWe tried that once, didn't get very far: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kola_Superdeep_Borehole https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kola_Superdeep_Borehole Turns out the core is very, very far away and still not really reachable with today's tech.
