The relationship between individual turbine capacity and the total power generation of a given area of land/sea is quite complicated. Bigger turbines don't get you as much additional power output as you might initially think because they have to be spaced out more. This is described in detail here:

(Of course, there's lots of space out to sea and larger turbines may be more economically viable)
