If you mean closed source companies, most sadly are, then that data isn't available. For open source, you can do a query with GitHub API.

- ak39 6y agoYip, I meant all the big companies like Google vs Microsoft vs IBM etc.
- st1x7 6y agoStill, we have little information and the rest is guesswork. Articles about Google's monorepo say that it had around 2 billion lines in 2016. Should be much higher now. And there's no chance that anyone at IBM knows how many lines of code they have.
