I think similarly, for me, work is not important enough to give it so much energy and emotions. I want to put that into my family and not into my work. I work remotely for a small company and I don't have meetings, just like 1-2 calls a week to talk about the current tasks I'm at, that's it. I think a lot of the problems you stated come with larger companies. Did you consider changing to a smaller company? Sure there can always be toxic people, but cha chances are better I think.
