- ddingus 6y agoComp.sys.apple2 is active.
- ksherlock 6y agoBut "only" 30 years old. net.micro.apple (1983-1986) was reorganized to comp.sys.apple (1986-1990) which was reorganized to comp.sys.apple2. comp.arch (1986-) easily has 10 times as much present day activity.
- ddingus 6y agoI did say active. Posts were made today. How active is another topic. There are contributors from then still active now too.
- amanaplanacanal 6y agoI think the binaries groups still get quite a bit of traffic :-)
- Volt 6y agocomp.lang.forth gets a few posts per day, but "interesting" is debatable.

Was really suprised to see this, a page an a half of posts and healthy replies from just this last month. I really wonder what type of people still hang out there.
- elvis70 6y agoThere is comp.os.cpm
- jecel 6y agoI looked at COMP.LANG.SMALLTALK to see if I could figure out why Google is still blocking it but the contents seem to be from Scheme instead: https://www.usenetarchives.com/threads.php?id=comp.lang.smalltalk&p=0 https://www.usenetarchives.com/threads.php?id=comp.lang.smal...
- jolmg 6y agoThat's interesting. It's around July 2006 that the posts started to change from being about Smalltalk to being about Lisp. Who knows if there's a thread that comments on the change. I see the posts there are pretty interesting. This one led me to a bit of a rabbit hole: https://www.usenetarchives.com/view.php?id=comp.lang.smalltalk&g=34633&p=0 https://www.usenetarchives.com/view.php?id=comp.lang.smallta...
