This is fine if you want to hop jobs, but why do you think the most in demand engineers on earth are being forced to eat these pay cuts?
- lotsofpulp 6y agoBecause they don't want to hop jobs. Walking away from a transaction is the signal to the buyer and seller that there is something wrong with the price. If neither party walks away, then there is nothing wrong with the price.

- creato 6y agoMaybe they aren't in quite as high demand as they were a year ago? I would be surprised if there wasn't some softening of the market in the pandemic.
