Lightning cables break if the phone falls at a weird angle or if you pull while twisting on the weakest side. I thing the “safe” monicker is still warranted.

- jonplackett 6y agoI mean, it used to cost you a $2000 laptop. Now it costs you maybe $10, and only if you're really unlucky. I'd say it's a push.
