Repression Was the Point of Capitalism
- wryoak 6y agoSounds more like guilds and trade unions are to blame than any boogie man economical philosophy. Professions, and the consequent domain narrowing of thought, arose from trade protectionism, not capitalism, but good luck convincing a carpenter or therapist that their having chosen a career has made them duller. Maybe the boogie man is in fact easier to blame. Sorta how the HNCDF is super easy to blame for articles on economic philosophy being flagged on a forum not dedicated to advertising one's economic philosophy newsletter.
