Git’s UI/porcelain definitely isn’t winning any awards. That said, why infantilize users so much that it’s considered abhorrent to understand the tool one depends on? The plumbing is so elegant/simple, after all! The utter passive cluelessness and disconnect-with-reality promoted & celebrated by “intuitive” interfaces reminds me of Mary Antoinette... “Tool not working... not intuitive enough :shrug:”
