- gajus 6y agoHm. Actually getting visa (O-1) was pretty easy. IDK about others experience, but I got positive response just 3 days after submitting my application. For what it is worth, my application was prepared by a law firm, included dozens of high profile references, and couple of hundred pages detailing my achievements (previous startups, software projects & articles). I don't know what others apply with, and I definitely felt nervous, but it went through a lot more smoothly than I was expecting based on everything that is said in media.
