I just attended a stadium with 30,000 people - many of which don't wear masks. I had the ability to visit and see my grandma in hospice before her death because visitor restrictions were lifted. The US can allow a quarter of a million people to die alone surrounded by faceless health workers in PPE, but I'm happy to be in a country which doesn't because we went for eradication. And we have much, much less money per capita or social spending than the US - but we still managed to pull it off with the help of our government, military and existing healthcare workers.
