I think if most of the exec level at a company changes alongside the messaging about changing course it's reasonable to maybe let them rebuild a bit of trust. If it's still the same people then I agree - if you ever think something like that is okay no amount of "we're better now" is going to convince me - you're clearly not to be trusted. I don't know about Microsoft though - the CEO changed, but what about the rest?
