I enjoy working from home. I have no problem with spontaneous text conversations. I definitely get more comfortable with it over time. It's strange because based on the number of downvotes I tend to get on HN, it would seem that I have a weird worldview. But when I chat with random people in my network (even casual acquaintances and colleagues), I'm surprised to find that they usually agree with my worldview and sometimes have ideas that are even crazier than my own. Filter bubbles are real.
