Unfortunately lockdowns are how governments can most easily be "seen to do the right thing"
And so they do them so that, at a future date, they can say, "well we did the lockdown, so you can't complain about the present state of affairs".
- tinus_hn 6y agoEven better, there will always be someone who broke the rules to point their fingers at. So if the rules don’t work it’s someone else’s fault.
- easytiger 6y agoIndeed. I. Some countries the utterly insulting government marketing is basically conferring inherent sin to the population. Implying guilt for all outbreaks lies at their feet.
