- jqpabc123 6y agoThe Mount Everest of evolutionary biology is to create life from inert chemicals. Science assumes it's possible but has yet to prove it can be done. This may be a significant step in that direction.

- jqpabc123 6y agoNope. You could have evolved from microbes that arrived on an asteroid. Until someone actually does it --- creates life from inert chemicals, it remains an unproven assumption.
