- verdverm 6y agoThey seemed to have missed major arguments around fair use and jury trial (having listened to the arguments myself). The jury heard detailed evidence and ruled that it was fair use. The court disregarded the jury decision and ruled differently. Google argued that a jury can make reasonable determinations and that blanket laws would be bad w.r.t. software copyrights.
