Nobel Prizes Are Not as Prestigious as They Used to Be
- simonblack 6y agoThat's because Nobel Prizes were handed out to people that hadn't earned them. One example is Obama, who got a peace prize simply for being elected, probably on the basis of his campaign rally speeches. Later on, he was the one who committed hundreds of war crimes with drones. Not the sort of thing for a deserving Peace Prize recipient to do. People aren't stupid. They see what's deserved and what's undeserved. Once that trust and prestige is lost, it's almost impossible to get it back.
