Ask HN: Google Maps mixed with Picasa content?
I looked with Google maps to places where I was used to bicycle when I was young, near Versailles in France.
While pocking through the various places on the map, I got a Google Maps URL [0] which displays something weird, it looks like an advertisement for a magician above a dark car.
But when one moves with Google Maps to this place [1] from some yards/meters away, there is no such picture, even more surprising not only there is no black car with a weird advertisement but a car parked nearby is replaced by a truck in the other Google Maps screen?
My wife pointed out that there is a Picasa icon in this Google Maps screen. Indeed the URL I got from Google, has another URL imbedded in it "https://lh3.googleusercontent.com" which is probably from Picasa or Google Photos cloud.
