The first step in saving my coder eyes is to not use light text with a dark background.
- swaits 15y agoSo? I find the opposite much more comfortable. What I do to save my coder sanity is not try to write serious code in my web browser. I've recently switched to [Solarized](http://ethanschoonover.com/solarized http://ethanschoonover.com/solarized), which offers both options, but I think it excels at keeping contrast comfortably low.

- tsenart 15y agoIf you took the time to really check it out you would see there are many more themes to choose from.
- xnxn 15y agoPerhaps you should showcase some of those themes in the screenshots... I, too, dismissed your extension out-of-hand, and only noticed the theme selection dropdown after reading your comment.
