How are these enforced? Is there a team from the federal government that regularly audits companies?
- vsskanth 6y agoWhen you hire an H1B you have to do something called a Labor Condition Application where you mention the occupation, salary offered and compare it against the prevailing wage. The salary offered needs to be higher than the prevailing wage. You can find the prevailing wage for each occupation code at flcdatacenter.com
- CinchWrench 6y agoDHS gets rejection-happy for renewals, forces companies' HR people to do the RFE dance, rejects, candidate has to get on the next flight out. Not fun to watch happen, but I blame the companies, not the government.
