Ten falsehoods and fallacies Google's lawyer told the Supreme Court
- AnimalMuppet 6y agoNote that fosspatents is a very biased site. It never met IP protection of anything that it didn't like. It never met an extreme interpretation of IP protection that it wasn't fully convinced was absolutely what the law said.
- zepto 6y agoTrue, and I’m sure that bias is part of their motivation for writing this, but does that mean anything in the article is actually incorrect? I read the article and it seems like a quite clear enumeration of Google’s lawyer making statements that are contradicted by the court record.
- AnimalMuppet 6y agoI haven't groveled through this particular article, but in the past, I have found Mueller to be, um, somewhat less than accurate.

- dragonwriter 6y agoMore to the point on Google v. Oracle than any generic pro-strong-IP ideology is that Florian Mueller (who is behind the site) is a (for quite a while undisclosed) paid agent for Oracle (and previously Microsoft) in anti-Google fights.
- zepto 6y agoOk - so he’s a shill. But is anything in this article false? It makes Google’s attorney look at best incompetent.
