Understandable. How do you propose we deal with the current wave of propaganda and misinformation that these platforms enable, especially since they’re already having a very real effect on politics all over the world?
- DethNinja 6y agoAdd critical thinking and logic lessons to school curriculum. Issue would be solved in about a generation but governments and large companies would hate that.
- tstrimple 6y agoThat will never happen in this country. - ForHackernews 6y agoThe far right have been attacking journalists as "enemies of the people" for a while now. Extreme leftists tend to hate mainstream journalism, too.
- _jal 6y agoThis is an assertion, not a plan. Your statement could just as easily apply to publicizing a whistleblower exposing massive corruption as it could to active collaboration with a foreign power to subvert an election. But beyond that, what are you actually proposing to "start"?
