I understand the sentiment but I don't think you understand what exactly Stripe does that actually makes it cheaper than alternatives. They are an ISO, payment processor, merchant bank, payfac and gateway all rolled into one. Add all of those up and you can see why its actually, generally speaking, cheaper.
