While sign in with apple is totally fine. I hate Facebook like any normal person but this is ridiculous.

  Does the report say that? The article doesn't mention it and the report is 449 pages long, so I haven't read it.

  You can create a throwaway Apple account that has no connection to the rest of your life. You can't do that with Facebook.
