It's backwards compatible to really old versions. It wouldn't surprise me if 70% of that code was emulators for previous versions of the OS.

- segfaultbuserr 6y agoEven IBM S/360 is still being emulated.
- trasz 6y agoThere’s not much compatibility for old versions of the OS - IIRC anything older than the hardware itself is not supported at all. Backwards compatibility is for user code.
