minor nitpick that doesn't change the substance of your point.
1.5 uses actually, the initial use is already 1/3 recycled. the correct calculation is 1/(1-r) where r=1/3. For example if you had to use 10% new material each time it is seems logical that you would get more than two uses out of the material. 1 use then .9 then .81 ect,
- PaulKeeble 6y agoAlas no, you can' recycle something that was made with recycled material. It gets at most one reuse if it was made out of 100% virgin plastic, everything else is throwaway, the recycled material poisons the rest.
- anticensor 6y agoPaper gets recycled twice: First grade paper→Third grade paper→Newspaper, or Cardboard→Cardboard→Cardboard.
