Doesn't HDMI also have dedicated pins for Ethernet?

- dfox 6y agoAnd the way how that is accomplished is depending on your view either brilliant hack or one giant ugly kludge. There is a pair of wires in the cable onto which two 100-base-T ethernet pairs and digital audio is combined using hybrid transformer and phantom.
