What about just write golang-one-static-binary app and you don't need a deployment platform at all? rent some cheap VPS and put a nginx in front for load-balance. To update it just stop the binary and copy over a newer one, and restart, that's it. The way to deploy java/python/ruby/node.js is complex on their own, I feel golang can fix that part by the language design itself.
