Facebook Bans All Groups, Pages Linked to QAnon Conspiracy
- epistasis 6y agoInteresting strategy, let them build up power and give Facebook a bad name, then ban them right as the election starts, to provoke maximum conspiracy? The QAnon nuttiness really reminds me of Lyndon Larouche. I don't know how to deal with people that are so disconnected from reality.
- throw_away 6y agoPlease nobody tell the qanon folks about setting up card tables full of literature and harassing passerbys at busy intersections.
- iron0013 6y agoGreat news. Adherents to this conspiracy theory have committed domestic terrorism in the past. Hopefully this action will help prevent future tragedies, as deplatforming has repeatedly been shown to be effective.
