Hmmm, I just tried setting up a new site search for an existing site and can't get any search results to show up. I'm guessing it takes awhile for the search index to populate, but that isn't really messaged anywhere in the product UX. The last solution I used was https://www.meilisearch.com/ https://www.meilisearch.com/ -- it's open source and way cheaper than Algolia.
