I agree that elan is full of shit a lot of the time. But you’re not doing yourself any favors , to compare 11k cars sold in Germany versus the rest of the German / international auto makers.
The fact that they are growing during economic headwinds shows that people are still interested in their product.
- cbmuser 6y agoNo, it demonstrates the effect of government subsidies for electric cars in Germany. Electric car owners don’t pay car taxes for the next 10 years in Germany. And many cars are even eligible for a $10.000 discount. Of course, people buy new electric cars given these factors. The interesting thing is that this means that used electric cars hardly find their buyers in Germany.
