  That's just systematic brain washing. Others do acknowledge their Queen/King or other leader. I'm not saying this is a bad thing. More polietly you could call it indoctrination or just expression of pride. Whatever it's a process to normalise acknowledgement of the superiority and authority of your country or leadership. I dont know that it has any impact on the positive reception of the subsequent education.
