Yea a friend only drives older cars without ODB to avoid tracking anything (he’s pretty paranoid). But I’ll resist buying a car with a driver facing camera as long as I can, I don’t care how much they discount insurance premiums if you get one, it’s not worth it.
- xeromal 6y agoI mean you can just tape up the camera.
- hellisothers 6y agoI’d imagine that disables a lot of things, not to mention is “suspicious”
- xeromal 6y agoBut it solves your problem of getting any car with one. The only thing you might potentially lose out on is autopilot or whatever other manufactures call it, but it's probably going to be required by regulation anyways.
