- NikolaeVarius 6y agoMore than that. They dropped Display Port, the second CSI Camera Connector, the M2 slot, the USB slot and replaced the barrel jack with the USBC. Thats a decent downgrade of capability

- nl 6y agoUSBC power is an improvement though! Edit: But no WiFi is annoying.
- Sebb767 6y agoDepends on your usecase. If you try to connect it to something like a battery or a generator, USB C is definitely a downgrade.
- nl 6y agoI guess that's true, but many projects I see use USB power banks for arduinos and I don't think this is too different.
- shiftpgdn 6y agoThe 4GB Jetson will run off a micro-usb port (for power banks) OR the barrel adapter.
- NikolaeVarius 6y agoI run the barrel adapter off a power bank just fine
- soylentgraham 6y ago4gb one over micro-usb real needs to be in 5w mode disabling 2/4 cpus. Running off usb-c at 15w where I can use all 4 is a big improvement for convinience for me.
- penagwin 6y agoRemoving the second CSI Camera Connector is what immediately killed it for my use case :(
- mrweasel 6y agoI don’t understand why it has less RAM. I would have expected a 4GB and an 8GB version.
