- tsuipen 16y agoNo. Technically, we're a federal constitutional republic and a representative democracy. The "representative" part was implied in my previous comment.
- r00fus 16y agoI know this is all tongue-in-cheek, but seriously, isn't YC all about going outside your comfort zones? Pushing the edges? Who amongst us is born knowing they'd be successful at leading a startup? In that vein, I think Obama hit it out of the park... just, when he had his "liquidity event" he kinda stopped doing the things that made people vote for him.
