- emyruth2 6y agoI do consider hosting static websites should be very simple. Amazon Cloud service is very complicated for most people, you may need to take a course before going for it. Netlify is good for any beginners and is a great platform. And you can focus more on your website than learning the Amazon service. I have seen people don't use a CDN even if they use static content. Infact CDNs can speed the delivery of the content much faster for a static website.
