What are coconuts perceived to be in common usage, if not fruits? I'm not a native English speaker and in my language, we consider them fruits.
- reificator 6y agoI think most people consider them fruits if they think about it, but the name has "nut" in it.
- mennis16 6y agoYeah I'm allergic to tree nuts and it's surprisingly common to have people ask me if coconut is okay. In some cases I've even found restaurant menus where dishes were marked as containing tree nuts just because of coconut.
