I'm not comparing Kubernetes vs rolling the same functionality yourself. I'm comparing it vs onboarding to the stack of Load Balancers/virtual networks/container registration/service discovery/etc offered by the major cloud providers natively on their platform, which are going to be much more well defined for solving real problems rather than K8s generic platform.
