Show HN: Git-workspace, a tool to locally mirror Git repos from GitHub + Gitlab
- stevekemp 6y agoThat looks like a nice tool, though it has to be said that "myrepos" can allow you to carry out operations on multiple repositories with ease. For example I have all my repositories checked out and I can just run "mr -j5 --config ~/.mr-work.conf update" and all work-repositories are updated - with five at a time running in parallel. To keep things in sync I wrote a little utility that will dump all repos belonging to a user/organization and generate the appropriate mr-config: https://github.com/skx/github2mr https://github.com/skx/github2mr
