Generalizing a complex concept is never easy and in doing so we often make mistakes. This happens also in this post.
At the same time, finding counterexamples is easy and it is even easier when the matter is related to personal motivation or choices.
At the same time, I greatly resonate with this need of quality and this brings to my mind this book [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zen_and_the_Art_of_Motorcycle_Maintenance https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zen_and_the_Art_of_Motorcycle_...]. In an environment obsessed with growth (more customers, more downloads, etc.) it is often difficult to make long-term choices which gives to quality the right level of importance.
